As botch jobs go, it's not a bad one..... I have just been quoted 1100 euro( £950.00 ) by a car upholsterer here in Dublin to do my X350 !!!
I would have thought the grease would be for brake lines fuel lines etc as the knuckles always seize
Makes sense 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
So cute 😍
Noooooo 😢
Hand hint for next time u do gaskets like that mate put a dab of grease in each corner to hold the gasket till u clamp it up
Thanks mate by the way, the Land Rover looked good 👌🏻👍🏻
@@CJGV8555 cheers mate
Thanks. I found the exact same bench at an estate sale. It’s in better shape than what you started with but it still needs sanding and painting. Now I’m down the youtube rabbit hole trying to figure out how to do that.
It’s a really nice bench thank you for watching and I hope the video helped somewhat hope it’s going well and you’ll have a great bench when you’re finished 👍🏻
Just fitted one to my Mini, sounds great. Just wanted to ask though, did yours initially smoke after fitting?
I actually have no idea I literally fired it up went down the road in it 😂 maybe some dust residue or something inside the exhaust itself from manufacturing
I just brought a 1974 Acto Royale B20 with the seat and tin grass bucket any advice
Very nice I’ve never actually had anything to do with one of those I remember my dad having one when I was little great lawnmower
Is it a 14" 1952 14/52
Great little lawnmower
I wouldnt bother with the fan its back to front anyway
I didn’t realise till I was taking it off. I’ve never paid any attention to it. It never got hot. I’ve never needed it.😂
When you drop the oil pan check the thrust washers while you in there!! My spit stays in the middle of the gauge and doesn't move but I have the big radiator like you just installed.
Thanks for watching. I will do that. Big radiator is really good. Definitely better than the original.
Both fans lined up like that would have been cancelling each other out as would have created a dead air pocket in between as the electric fans would have pushed more air then the engine fan could have coped with so u done right with removing it
Hi, thank you for watching I didn’t realise it was even the wrong way round till I started taking it off. 😂 I’ve never used the fan that was on the car so I never paid any attention to it 😂
thank you for the video man. Im replacing mine when i wake up now now. From PTA South Africa
Thank you for watching 👍🏻
Have you ever had to replace the throttle body in yours? I'm not looking forward to it 😢
Hi I haven’t it doesn’t sound fun to do hope it goes well 🤞🏻👍🏻
How long did it take start > finish
Hi About an hour
big radiator.
I’ve just purchased one thank you for watching. I’ll upload the video soon.
Go with the larger radiator and ditch the fan! Hay you changed the channel name!! I like it!!
Hi, I’ve bought a larger radiator and I’ve ditched the fan. I’ll upload a video soon thank you. I don’t just do jags now so I thought I should change the name thank you for watching

Awesome vid my 2012 rangers driver door has same crack will be replacing in next couple days now that i know how to
Thank you for watching. It made a massive difference when I fixed mine
Definitely go with the larger radiator.
I’ve purchased one I’ll be fitting it soon. Thanks for watching
I would probably go for the large radiator and keep the fan and adapt the bracket, you never know when you might need it 👍
Thank you for watching. I have purchased one. I’ll be uploading a video soon.
My 2003 XJ6 has this warning come up occasionally. It seems to be after it has been raining a lot. When I bought it about 4 years ago it had a air suspension fault but no warning and was just not sitting right. Under the warranty they sent it to a Jaguar specialist and it was returned fixed but now occasionally it says air suspension fault but there is nothing wrong at all. If I have not driven it for a while it might come up "car too low" but after a few seconds it's got back up and is fine. Don't you find most things that go wrong with a Jag are sensor faults . Car is fine . So wish there were no sensors like a MK2 😇
Hi, if I leave the car in the garage and don’t use it for a couple of months it gets irritable with me and I get loads of sensor faults. I clear them all. I’ll get an odd one for a few days of using it and then they’re all gone again, for the next six months and then the next time I park it up again I start same problem again 😂
Excellent . Commented on your first video not realising it wasn't new then found this . Fingers crossed mine is the same and I can make it as easy as yours looked. Had a wheel sensor fault too and watched a RUclips video saying only takes a half hour . Spent nearly 2 hours trying to get the one 8mm bolt out. Still not out hoping the impact driver arriving tomorrow works . Thanks for your video .
Hi I Hope this video helps you and I hope you get it sorted thank you for watching
Mine is the same. Was hoping you had the solution lol Although doesn't come up on my obd11 reader at all. Had heard about something under the seat but don't know what. Do please reply if you find out. Cheers and good luck. Oh if I do find a solution I'll let you know.
I’ve posted a video on how to replace the clock spring thanks for watching
I HAVE A CRACK SAME SPOT TOO
Hi, it’s such a common fault
I connected mine but I dont know how to attach the bracket to the door without compromising the door rubber anybody got any ideas
Hi You need to take the strip of plastic off alongside the windscreen thanks for watching
How do you stop it when its running btw on that model out of interest, the throttler?
Hi I just turned the petrol off thanks for watching
White Vision 5w5 duration?.

@@CJGV8555 OK. Thank you for your answer.
I had the same crack in same place. I was told it was because I had an oil leak, so the engine overheated and damaged the coolant tank.
I believe it’s a common fault with the tank
Satisfying fix 😊 beat the Audi stealers from fixing it 😂
Definitely does 👍🏻
What a great find. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen one in Java Green in person before. My very first car was a 1972 Spitfire that I bought in 1979. Mine was in Sienna Brown, which I loved. The Spitfire is such a gorgeous design. Though they didn’t offer much in terms of performance, it is hard to beat top-down motoring on a beautiful day. I hope that you enjoy this car to the fullest!
Thank you very much and thank you for watching
Well, I did mine yesterday … what a nightmare! As you say it’s simple in principle but getting those pins out … 🥵😱 Thanks for the video, at least I was pre-warned, the whole job took me half a day BUT glad it’s done. The original steels had lasted 20 years (I think they were the originals? 🤔) so stainless steel ones should see me out! 👍🛠️🤕
Hi, it’s a very fiddly job. Glad you got it done. It took me ages as well thank you for watching
I’m restoring a similar birdbath. The bottom is cast iron but the top is metal Lots of hand sanding because I don’t have the right kind of sander and I don’t have a bar brush for my drill, but I want to do it right the first time Yours turned out nice. Mine has only one bird 🦆
Thank you for watching hope you are getting on well with it
Hi, I have just about finished the cosmetics on my 1700. I'm having a bit of problems with fitting the rear back cable. I bought a new cable as the old one was too frayed at the end to get through the little holes. It came with the outer sheath which seemed to small. Never mind I thought, I will use the old sheath. It also seems to tight and I can't turn the handlebars to the right. Please could you tell me how your cable is routed. Obviously I have gone through the little hole in the frame, but not sure if the cable goes on the outside of the bike or near where the saddle is, either way it's very tight. Thanks Jeff
Hi mine was near where the saddle is hope you get it sorted thanks for watching
@@CJGV8555 Hi and thanks for your reply it seems to be fine now. I have the DVLA inspection on Thursday, so hopefully that will be the final stage before the registration document. Take care, Jeff
Should've gone up 1 power every minute untill 10..then full power.. Micro fibers would've helped Funny video 😂😂😂
Thanks for watching 😂
what type of pain did you use?
Black hammerite
Had same. Rebuilt the compressor (BPAndy), worked for a month or so then same. Replaced with 2nd user compressor, fixed then same fault again. My Jag Man says the issue is the struts leak slowly (can hear when it’s up on the ramp). Light comes on because the compressor is working fine but the pressure sensor doesn’t get to target in time, owing to the leakage. Fault comes and goes annoyingly. Only use the XJR 3 months a year so haven’t yet changed the struts, which look easy enough to change….It’d be pretty annoying to do so and still have the fault code owing to it being some kind of sensor issue, if anyone knows about these?
Mine is just a fault from not using the car it’s a bit of a annoying fault hope you get it sorted
Update: also been advised that the XJR has ‘sports’ struts (C2C41346 Rear, C2C41354 Front from VIN G49701) vs ‘comfort’ on the standard cars.
Came up great but please tell me you didn’t polish that bonnet and boot without giving it a wash first!
Don’t worry it was washed first 😂
Did you ever replace those pipes? I would love to see the job recorded on video. Cheers
I haven’t yet as it hasn’t got any worse but it’s definitely a future job
@@CJGV8555 Thanks for the reply!
Thanx alot ,our audi same thing ,got a new one and replaced it went exactly like yours ,again thanx alot sir.
Thanks for watching this is such a common fault. Glad he got it replaced.👍🏻
Howmuch will you want for the hayter that you have done up
I’m afraid it’s already sold
is this resistor can make the cold temp back to normal again sir? but thanks for the amazing video
Hi it did mine yeah thanks for watching
It was great to watch the serie, but i would love to see you working on it instead of the before and afters.. Idea for next job?
I’m still debating but il find something soon thanks for watching
Nice engine you’ve got there 👍🏻🏴🇬🇧
Thanks 👍
Yes mate! Superb
Thank you! Cheers!

I was once told they would make a small wire cage to fit in the water tank and boil eggs for breakfast.
I have heard that and I would like to see it
Lovely little ride and the colour is spectacular ❤
Thank you
I put a set of twin airhorns on my truck and wired them into the horn button so when you pushed the horn both the standard and the air horns would barp simultaneously. What I did to get around them barbing together was I put an on/off switch on the power cable to the airhorns so when I was in a depot or something I could switch the airhorns off to not give anyone walking around a heart attack as they are very loud but when not in a depot I could turn them back on and they would work from the steering wheel button. I hope that makes sense cos I've kinda confused myself a bit...😊
Thank you for watching
